Description

This is the 1977 Topps rookie card of former Los Angeles Rams quarterback and USC legend Pat Haden. The back features a pink and grey color scheme with detailed statistics from his 1975 WFL season with the Southern California Sun and his 1976 NFL debut season. It includes a 'College Corner' blurb highlighting his time at USC and his Rhodes Scholarship status at Oxford.

Key Features

Official Rookie Card of an iconic LA Rams QB and USC Trojans star. Part of the highly collected 1977 Topps set which also features the Walter Payton second-year card and Steve Largent rookie.

Authenticity Indicators

High confidence. The cardboard stock is the correct greyish-brown chipboard used by Topps in 1977. The 'T' in Topps and the copyright line at the bottom center show the correct ink-bleed for the era. Not a common target for counterfeiting.

Flaws to Note

Softened corners on all four sides. Common 'chippy' edges on the grey stock. Top-to-bottom centering is slightly shifted toward the top. Surface has some minor age-related toning/darkening common for 1970s cardboard.

Selling Guide

Where to Sell

eBay is the best platform for this card as a single. Alternatively, it works well as part of a USC Trojans or 1970s Quarterback lot on Facebook sports card groups.

Selling Tips

Due to current condition, professional grading is not recommended as fees will exceed the card's value. List with high-resolution photos of front and back. Use keywords like 'USC Trojans', 'LA Rams', and 'RC' in the title to attract player and team collectors.
