Description
This is a 1997 Topps base card featuring New York Yankees pitcher Ramiro Mendoza. The card features a classic gold border design with rounded inner frame corners, the Topps logo in the upper left corner, the player's name vertically oriented on the left side, and the team name at the bottom right. The action photography captures Mendoza mid-pitch in his Yankees gray road uniform on the mound.
Key Features
Part of the iconic 1997 Topps base set during the New York Yankees dynasty era, featuring a reliable bullpen piece and World Series champion.
Authenticity Indicators
High confidence. Card stock, font styling, gold border coloration, and Topps logo placement match authentic 1997 Topps production standards. Not a heavily counterfeited card.
Flaws to Note
Based on visual inspection in the binder page, the card appears generally well-centered with sharp corners, though minor edge wear or surface imperfections common to 90s Topps card stock could be present upon closer raw inspection.
Selling Guide
Where to Sell
COMC, eBay (best for bulk lots or cheap singles), or local card show dollar boxes.
Selling Tips
Due to low individual card value, it is not economically viable to have this card professionally graded. Best sold as part of a 1997 Topps team set or a larger Yankees player lot.
