Description
This is the reverse side of a 1977 Topps Football card featuring New England Patriots Guard Sam Adams. The back features a pink and brown color scheme with a biographical section, 'College Corner' blurb, and career highlights documenting his journey from the Rams supplemental draft to the Patriots taxi squad and eventually a starting role.
Key Features
Vintage 1970s New England Patriots memorabilia; classic Topps card stock; high number cards in this set can be harder to find in mint condition, but this is a low-number base card.
Authenticity Indicators
Genuine cardboard stock thickness for the era; standard 1977 Topps pink/brown ink bleed; correct copyright year for Topps Chewing Gum Inc. Confidence: High.
Flaws to Note
Softness in the corners (visible bottom right), potential surface silvering or fading in the pink ink, and right-to-left centering bias on the reverse. The card also shows slight edge chipping typical of 1970s cardboard.
Selling Guide
Where to Sell
eBay (as a single or part of a team lot), COMC for long-term inventory, or local card shows with 'nickel/dime' bins.
Selling Tips
Do not grade this card; the grading fee will significantly exceed the market value. List it as part of a New England Patriots vintage team set or a 1977 Topps lot for the best chance of a quick sale.
