Demand Level
Moderate. Demand is steady among Hall of Fame set builders and Oakland Raiders fans, though punter cards generally have a lower ceiling than skill positions.

$5.00 - $12.00
Graded Value
PSA 5: $15-25, PSA 6: $30-45, PSA 7: $60-80
Comparable Sales
Recent raw copies in similar mid-grade condition have sold for $6.00 to $10.00. High-grade PSA 8 examples command significantly more ($150+), but this copy shows too much corner wear to reach that tier.
Description
A classic Ray Guy card from the 1977 Topps set. The back of the card features a pink and tan design highlighting his legendary punting record and his status as the first kicker ever selected in the first round of a college draft. It includes his stats from 1973-1976 and the 'College Corner' blurb about Southern Miss.
Key Features
Features Hall of Fame punter Ray Guy. Guy is widely considered the greatest punter in NFL history and was the first pure punter inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Authenticity Indicators
High confidence. Card shows correct porous cardstock consistent with 1977 Topps. The 'star' symbol and copyright line at the bottom are typed in the correct font and color intensity. Not a frequent target for counterfeiting in this condition.
Flaws to Note
Corners show light touches and rounding, particularly at the top right. Top-left edge shows minor chipping. For 1970s cardboard, this is typical, but it prevents a high-grade assessment.
Selling Guide
Where to Sell
eBay (Auction or Buy It Now), COMC (Check Out My Cards) for long-term consignment, or Raiders memorabilia Facebook groups.
Selling Tips
Due to the estimated grade, it is likely not worth the cost of grading ($19+ plus shipping). Selling it 'raw' as a clean mid-grade filler for a set builder is the best path. Use a clear penny sleeve and top-loader for photos.
