The front features a glossy full-color action photo of Wood in his iconic Cubs pinstripe uniform holding a baseball, set against a blurred stadium background. The bottom border features a blue design element with the text 'TOPPS 2000', the Cubs circular team logo, the word 'PITCHER', and Wood's name in gold foil lettering. The top right corner features the classic Topps logo in gold foil.
Key Features
Features the dominant Chicago Cubs strikeout pitcher Kerry Wood during his prime years following his historic 20-strikeout game. Part of the flagship 2000 Topps set known for its clean design and foil accents.
Authenticity Indicators
High confidence in authenticity. Standard card stock and glossy finish consistent with 2000 Topps production. Not a heavily counterfeited card due to low common value.
Flaws to Note
Slight right-heavy centering on the front border which is common for Topps cards from this era. Minor edge wear possible upon closer inspection out of the stack.

Selling Tips
Due to the low individual value of raw base cards from this era, it is generally not economical to grade this card independently unless submitting as part of a bulk submission. Best sold raw as part of a Kerry Wood player lot or Cubs team set.
