Topps
Demand Level
Moderate. Standard leader cards for these players are steady sellers but do not see the explosive growth of their individual base cards or rookie cards.

$10 - $25
Graded Value
PSA 4: $15-20, PSA 5: $25-35, PSA 6: $50-70
Comparable Sales
Recent raw copies in similar EX condition have sold between $12 and $18. PSA 7 copies generally sell for $100+, but this specific card's centering would likely prevent such a high technical grade.
Description
A classic 1979-80 Topps Hockey '1978-79 Goal Leaders' subset card. This card features three of the most prolific scorers in NHL history: Mike Bossy (Islanders), Marcel Dionne (Kings), and Guy Lafleur (Canadiens). The design features a light blue border with pink and green accents, typical of the late 70s Topps hockey aesthetic. All three players pictured are Hockey Hall of Famers.
Key Features
Features three iconic Hall of Fame legends. Higher demand due to being from the same set as the Wayne Gretzky rookie card. Features 50-goal icons Bossy and Lafleur.
Authenticity Indicators
High confidence. The print matrix (dot pattern) is consistent with 1979 offset lithography. The card stock shows the correct greyish-brown cardboard reverse. The blue ink pigment matches known authentic examples.
Flaws to Note
Significant right-side centering bias (heavy left border). Minor white corner wear. Standard rough-cut edges typical of 1970s Topps production which may affect sub-grades.
Selling Guide
Where to Sell
eBay is the best platform for this specific card using a 'Buy It Now' with 'Best Offer' format. It would also perform well in a hockey-specific Facebook buy/sell/trade group.
Selling Tips
Due to the centering issues, grading is likely not cost-effective as the fee ($19+) would exceed the value added. Sell raw with clear, high-resolution photos of all four corners. Use keywords: HOF, Hall of Fame, 1979 Topps Hockey, Bossy Dionne Lafleur.
